Tears of a Tiger

One book that I have read recently was called Tears of a Tiger. It was an awesome book it kept you on your feet the whole story. The story was about these four high school kids that all got in a car crash and the star basketball player dies now the driver has to live up to it. Everyone doesn't really take it on Tyrone. Tyrone just had to live with the fact that he killed one of his close friends so finally Tyrone kills himself. It was a tragic moment. It was a great book. I really liked it.

Of Mice and Men

Another book I read recently was Of Mice and Men. It is about these two people Lennie and George. Lennie is kind of slow and don't know his own strength. George was told to watch over him. Lennie got into trouble and they ran away to work on a farm and while working Lennie killed a puppy because he was petting it to hard, he liked soft things, also he killed a lady. So Lennie and George ran away again and then George told Lennie was going on that theta would live on a farm and have lots of soft thing and then George shot Lennie because the lady that lennie killed her husband was going to kill lennie anyways so gorge went on and did it for him. It was an awesome book it also kept you on your feet. It was a great book.

Love and Other Four Letter Words

I recently read this really good book named Love and Other Four Letter Words.

This book is about a girl named Sammie that lives in a town named Ithaca. She is a daddy's girl who doesn't really get along well with her mom. One day she comes home and finds out that her dad and mom are going to try a trial separation. Sammie hasn't been really lucky in love or relationships. Her best friend Kitty has though. Kitty is a little more mature than Sammie. Kitty is the one that is going to parties and dating a senior when Kitty and Sammie is freshman in High School.Sammie, her mom, and her dog moixe all move to Manhattan NY in an apparment.Sammies mom try's to sugar coat the apartment but its kind of impossible. The apartment doesn't have air conditioning and the first few weeks they don't have a phone or internet. No communication to her dad or Kitty is really hard for Sammie while adjusting to the new life in New York. Sammie meets a girl in the dog park. Sammie and this girl become friends and meet every day at the dog park at nine o clock. When Kitty visits Sammie though things happen. Kitty isn't to impressed with Sammie's new friend .she makes fun of her and tells her that she is a freak making the girl at the dog park leave without saying a word. Sammie worries that kitty has said something to make her change the way that the girl thinks of Sammie.

All and all it's a really good book. I haven't been that into a book in a long time. I read it 2 days. I could not put it down. It wasn't really suspenseful but it was just a good book

Jessie's Lady

One book that I read is Jessie's Lady that was a very boring book. It was set in France. Two girls that went to a private school one a gypsy princess and another girl from New York that needed discipline. Her father is dyeing so they go into the sister lady and get told that he is dyeing so the two girls go back to Brianna's home in New York Aimee is going with her because they are very best of friends. Then Jessie was over to Cathy's house the guy would usually go to her house and they would do stuff. Afterwards he was talking to her and she said the guy she was in love with got her pregnant and left Jessie gave her money told her she could work a women who was due any time. Then back to the girls. Aimee tells Brianna that her ancestors was a gypsy princess and that she couldn't tell her because she thought she knew. She didn't want to rub it in and other stuff. Brianna teaches Aimee English while they were still on the ship. Then I quit reading that book because I thought it was really boring.

The Giver

Another book I read was The Giver. It is a closed community. There was no body goes hungry, feels pain they get assigned what their job will be, who they will marry. The dad is a doctor for little kids and one baby goes home with him and he has to try to get the baby to sleep by himself or he will be put to sleep by the shot. Well the boy becomes the giver he gets memories of how the world out side of them is. He plans to run away.

I loved the book.

Tears of a Tiger

The story talks about these kids that go driving when they where drunk and one of the kids die. Tyrone was the kid driving the car and watched his friend burn in the car. Tyrone goes one for a couple of days and thinks that he is the one that kills his friend because he was driving. His mom and dad make him go to a therapist because he thinks that he killed him. At the end of the story he finally gets tired of think that he killed him and blows his brains out with a shout gun. Then his mom comes home and his little brother sees something on the floor and his mom goes in his room and sees him dead.

The River

A young man named Brian Robeson who was involved in a life and death situation a few years ago was approached by 3 men from a survival program. The 3 men were inspired by Brian and what he did to keep himself alive. One of the men says to Brian, would like you to do it all over again. We would like to publish your story in our magazine so the rest of the country can read and know what it's really like to have nothing but a hatchet and still be alive to this day to talk about it. He couldn't believe it after a few days of thinking about it Brain accepts the challenge and sets off for the very place where he nearly lost his life. If you would like to know what happens next go to your local library and check it out. If you read The Hatchet then you'll love this sequel.

The Dangerous Game

The book is abut a game called Quarry Tag and two kids tie and the girl doesn't want to be tied so she challenges the boy into another game of Quarry Tag. The message is that whoever loses has to quit the team. It reminded me of freeze log. I especially liked it when it was mysterious. I don't understand why the two men were trying to kidnap the girl. I found it surprising that the boy was finally realizing that he should help the girl get out the school.

Forged by Fire

This book is about how Gerald met a sister and become close and protected her from her violent, molesting father. The message is if someone is abusing someone speak up and don't keep it a secret. This book reminded me of the world and how there is a lot of violence and people molesting children. I liked this book because Jordan finally went to jail and they were happy once again. I don't understand why they let Jordan out of jail if he molested Angel, if he did it once, he will do it again. I also found it surprising when their mother changed and started to believe them.
