The FCAT Writing test measures students aptitude in expository or persuasive writing and students scores become part of the school grade.

Special Bell Schedule/shortened periods after lunch
The FCAT SSS is the test that is used to "grade" our school and determine if the 10th graders meet graduation requirement. Students should get a good night sleep and be prepared to do their best. Results for 9th graders will be used to determine students who need assistance before taking the FCAT in the 10th grade. FCAT Science is given to 11th graders.

This test is used to assess the progress of our ESOL students and to assist in placement of these students in appropriate courses for the next school year.
