GLOBAL/CULTURAL STUDIES FINAL EXAM PRESENTATION

Welcome to Global/Cultural Studies.  During this class, you will learn about different cultures which comprise our world.  For the Final Examination, you will prepare a presentation of your country of origin/heritage (so no presentations on the USA).  The presentation must include:

  1. The country you selected (show the flag)
  2. Government/political system
  3. Languages spoken (primary / secondary…be prepared to share a few words)
  4. Sources of income (how does the country make money…e.g. tourism, industry)
  5. Notable foods/drinks, technologies, famous people…what or who are “special”
  6. Religion practiced

You may use Power Point, Prezi, Poster Board, or whatever you desire.  You will be evaluated on content, clarity of voice and speech, visual aids, timing and movement (you must at least side to side in the room).  You will have 3-5 minutes to present your information.  Remember, less words and more photos!!! You MUST have note cards!!!

We will begin presentations after the Thanksgiving Holiday.
