Homecoming is here! Enjoy all the
Spirit Week Activities this Week.
Float building will be at the
fairgrounds tonight through
Thursday. Dress up days begin today
with Twin day. Tuesday is Old person
/ Little Kid; Wednesday is Celebrity
Character day and Thursday is Green
& Gold day.
Spirit week competitions begin today
during both lunches. Today is
revenge of the Gumball, Tuesday is
Velvet Rope Limbo, Wednesday is
Paparazzi Scavenger Hunt and
Thursday is Tug-o-War. Meet in the
Dog Bowl during your lunch.
Thursday night is the Homecoming
Growl, the largest Pep Rally in
Volusia County. Enjoy male
cheerleading, skits and lots of
green and gold. Admission is free
and you won’t want to miss a thing!
Friday we have a half day of school
followed by the parade downtown and
the Homecoming game at night against
Pine Ridge. Have a great Week Dogs!
Wrestling season is almost here.
Anyone interested in wrestling must
meet in Coach Baker’s room 3pm
Thursday. Again wrestlers, there is
a mandatory meeting in Coach Baker’s
room 15-104 after school next
Thursday. Wrestlers must have
physicals and consent forms
completed prior to practicing.
Avant Garde will be selling spirit
tattoos & Hollywood beanie babies
all week long to help promote DHS
homecoming spirit week! Show your
bulldog pride by purchasing a tattoo
for .50 cents or by sporting your
favorite rock star beanie baby with
Hollywood key chain for $4. Go

The Gay-Straight alliance will now
be meeting on Thursdays in room
11-203 immediately after school.
Conditioning for the Boys Soccer
Team will be held on Wednesday and
Friday at the baseball field from
3:15 until 4:30. Only players who
have turned in their parent consent
form and physical form to Coach
DowDell may participate. See Coach
