GRADUATION ORDERS: Orders are made directly through Herff Jones. Please contact Herff Jones online @ or @ (407) 647-4373 to order graduation supplies. Be sure to order early, as prices do go up.

SENIOR PANORAMIC PICTURE: Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 during 4th period.  Picture will be taken in the gym for seniors only.

GRAD BASH: Friday, April 28th, 2017 from 5:30pm-3:30am. Ticket price will include entry to Universal and charter bus ride. Tickets will be on sale from January 30th through February 24th ONLY for $100. Ticket price will include entry to Universal and charter bus ride. Applications will be available in the activities office and must have a parent signature before tickets are purchased.

SENIOR PROM: Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at Daytona Hilton Oceanside/Daytona from 8 pm to midnight. Tickets will be $55 and go on sale starting Monday, March 6th through Thursday, March 30th.

SENIOR CELEBRATION: Thursday, May 18th, in DHS Cafeteria from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. This is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage all Seniors to come and share in one last evening of hanging out together. We will have food and refreshments available – Seniors will be able to pick up their cap & gown orders and yearbooks.

SENIOR FINAL EXAMS: May 15th - 18th. Make up exams will be taken on May 19th, you must finish your makeup exams before noon, as that is when grades will be pulled from Grade Book. For Florida Virtual School, you want to make sure your final grades are in before May 1st to be sure your grades are in on time.

BACCALAUREATE: Monday, May 22nd, promptly at 6:30pm at Stetson Baptist (1025 W Minnesota Ave. DeLand). Sponsored by the DeLand Youth Ministerial Association. Baccalaureate is for ALL graduating seniors and their families. Attendance/participation is voluntary. You must wear your Cap & Gown and the type of clothes you will at graduation. (No shorts, jeans, etc.)

GRADUATION REHEARSAL: Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at 3:00pm at the Ocean Center/Daytona Beach. Graduates must be at the Ocean Center by 2:45pm. ALL SENIORS planning to walk at graduation must attend this practice. No excuses. Be prompt! You may wear casual clothes. Be sure to fill out and turn in any information that is requested of you at this practice. Parents are not encouraged to attend.

GRADUATION TICKETS: Graduation tickets will go on sale Monday, May 1st. The price will be $3 per ticket. Students will be able to purchase ten tickets each to give everyone a fair chance to have family and friends attend. Beginning on Monday, May 15th ticket sales will open up to first come first serve until noon on Wednesday, May 24th. Any tickets we do not sell will be available for purchase at the ticket office of the Ocean Center on the day of graduation. We will also be selling parking passes for the Ocean Walk Parking Garage at this time for $5. Tickets and Parking Passes are non-refundable.

GRADUATION: Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at 4pm at the Ocean Center, Daytona Beach. Graduates must be at the Ocean Center by 3:15pm. If you arrive late, you may not be able to walk. Graduates MUST have on your Cap & Gown. Diplomas will be available for pick-up at the Ocean Center IF ALL OBLIGATIONS ARE PAID BEFORE GRADUATION DAY.
Girls Wear: A dress (any color as long as it cannot be seen through your gown) appropriate for graduation (dress cannot be longer than your gown and must not have spaghetti straps, halter style or cannot be strapless-even if you wear a sweater or jacket over the dress), skin colored hose and black pumps (must be dress shoes with heels or flat, no slide on shoes or flip flops, must have a back or strap) and a minimal jewelry.
Boys wear: Dark colored dress pants (no jeans), dark dress shoes (non-athletic), dark socks, white dress shirt and dark tie.
Audience expectations: DeLand High School’s graduation is a ceremony which honors the accomplishments of the “Class of 2016” and is not a celebration. In keeping with the significance of the ceremony, noisemakers are not allowed in the audience. All members of the audience are asked to remain seated during the graduation ceremony. Gifts and flowers will be removed if placed on graduates’ chairs before the ceremony.

BRIGHT FUTURES: You must sign up online after December 1st, 2016 if you are interested in applying for a Bright Futures scholarship.
